Getting Started
How do I create a wishlist?
After signing in, click "Create Wishlist" on the Wishlists page. Give it a name, optional description, and choose your privacy setting (Private, Shared, or Public).
How do I add wishes to my list?
Open a wishlist and click "Add Wish". You can paste a product URL and we'll automatically extract the title, image, and price. Or switch to "Manual Entry" to add items by hand.
Which websites are supported for URL import?
WishPort works with thousands of online stores including Amazon, eBay, Rozetka, IKEA, Apple, Target, Walmart, and many more. We extract product data using OpenGraph, JSON-LD, and custom selectors.
Is WishPort free?
Yes! WishPort is completely free to use. Create unlimited wishlists, add unlimited wishes, and share with as many people as you like.
Sharing & Privacy
How do I share my wishlist?
Set your wishlist visibility to "Shared" or "Public". Shared wishlists generate a unique link you can send to anyone. Public wishlists are visible on your profile.
Can people see who reserved a gift?
No! Reservations are completely hidden from the wishlist owner. This keeps gift-giving a surprise. Only the person who reserved can see their own reservation.
Can someone view my wishlist without an account?
Yes. Anyone with a shared link can view the wishlist and reserve gifts without signing up.
What are the privacy options?
Private: Only you can see it. Shared: Anyone with the unique link can view it. Public: Visible on your profile and to your followers.
Features
What is price tracking?
When you add a wish with a product URL, you can enable price tracking. We'll periodically check the price and notify you when it drops below your target or any time it decreases.
What is Gift Exchange?
Gift Exchange lets you organize Secret Santa or gift swap events. Create an exchange, invite members, set a budget, and we'll randomly assign who gives to whom.
Can I organize my wishes?
Yes! You can create multiple wishlists for different occasions (Birthday, Christmas, Wedding, etc.), mark wishes as "Most Wanted", and reorder them by dragging.
What languages are supported?
WishPort is available in 17 languages: English, Ukrainian, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Slovak, Romanian, Hungarian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Finnish.
Account & Data
How do I change my password?
Go to Settings from the user menu. You can update your password, name, and other profile details there.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom. You'll find the option to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Is my data secure?
We use HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing (bcrypt), and JWT authentication. Your data is stored securely and never sold to third parties.
